We are a small rescue located primarily in the Denver area, working to provide homes (foster, forever, sanctuary, etc) for senior dogs in need. We accept adoptable dogs, terminal dogs, and special needs dogs over the age of eight (no dog is too old or too "un-adoptable" for our program). While we pull dogs from all over the country, we prioritize those who are in Colorado, or bordering states. We do not accept owner surrenders into our rescue, in order to leave room for shelter dogs at risk of euthanasia, but are sometimes able to assist in the re-homing process.

We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a fully licensed, cage-free cat shelter with a limited admission policy.
We provide cats with a loving home environment in either our main shelter or in a foster home until a forever home is found. Our cage-free environment allows cats to recover from any trauma experienced as a stray and adjust to life as a loved companion.
We are a group of dedicated volunteers who love cats - join us!
We believe that every cat has a right to a safe and loving home - regardless of age, appearance, or chronic but manageable health problems.
We rescue homeless cats wherever there is a need. We have rescued cats locally and from other states such as Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
We provide the necessary veterinary care; vaccinations, leukemia and fecal testing, de-worming, and spaying/neutering.
We do our best to find the right cat for anyone looking for a lifetime companion. We screen adopters to match the adopter with a cat. We work with a network of rescue organizations and shelters to find the best home for each cat. If we don’t immediately have the right cat, we are able to work with our contacts to find him or her.
We charge a fee for each adoption which does not cover all of our costs. We also insist that adopted cats be kept indoors and not be declawed. If the new parent(s) have any trouble with their new adopted cat, we can counsel to help solve problems, and if necessary we will accept the cat back into our shelter or foster home.
